Tyler Fonarow

Find Your Path - Utah experiences are designed and led by Tyler Fonarow, an experienced leader in independent schools, summer programs, and experiential education. Tyler earned his B.S. in Geography from University of California, Davis and his M.S. in Recreation Administration from San Francisco State University. Tyler founded and directed Hamlin Summer Camp for 12 years, a coeducational adventure summer day camp in San Francisco at The Hamlin School, an independent girls’ school. He concurrently served as the school’s Director of Community and Character Education, where he oversaw the experiential and outdoor education program for grades 3 - 8. Additionally, Tyler directed the school’s climbing, camping, and backpacking program supervising trips to Pinnacles National Monument, Yosemite National Park, and Olympic National Park. In 2012, Tyler moved to Salt Lake City to become the Middle School Principal at Rowland Hall, Utah’s premier independent day school.

Jackson Chou

Jackson Chou, Intern: Jackson is a Junior at Westminster College studying Outdoor Education and Leadership. He grew up In Marin County, California with the Bay Area and the Sierras as his backyard, he brings a wide diversity of skills to our programs. He is currently certified as a Wilderness EMT. In the Spring of 2018 Jackson completed a semester with the National Outdoor Leadership School in Patagonia, Chile. During his free time he enjoys backpacking, camping, skiing and traveling. At this time he has traveled to 21 countries and hopes to visit more in the near future.
